Visible Music has extensive experience in delivering songwriting/recording/production projects in secondary schools.

 

Pupils are typically led through a complete songwriting and recording exercise, using multi-track sequencing and computer/iPad music technology. The end result is a professionally mixed and mastered production of the finished song, of any genre.

 

Pupils learn about teamworking, music technology, songwriting, studio experience, and much more along the way.

 

This activity can easily be tied into other school projects and topics, which can provide the subject material for the focus of the song.

 

This activity can also be tailored to engage those with little music experience. The emphasis can be shifted to hip-hop, making beats, electronic music, and basic rapping.
